If your handwriting is not legible, free flowing, and performed at a reasonable speed – try typing. With typing, you don’t have to worry about the physical process and effort of handwriting (or rewriting when editing). Then, you can direct your energy to composing the written material.
Fortunately, typing information into a word processing application is the most accepted and preferred method for writing. You can use a standard keyboard or an alternative keyboard or alternative mouse.
By definition, word processing applications are software programs in which you can create and edit personal or business documents that are primarily text based. The most popular word processing applications are Microsoft Word and Google Docs. However, note taking applications like OneNote and email applications such as Outlook and Gmail are also types of word processing applications.
