Meet Melanie
Hi, I’m Melanie, the creator of Digital Support Tools. I am passionate about sharing technology tools and strategies that can enhance how you learn, work, and manage tasks at home, ultimately boosting your productivity and helping you achieve your goals.
I hold a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Rehabilitation Engineering from Wright State University. My career began as an Assistive Technology Consultant for state agencies and nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting people with disabilities. I then transitioned to working as an Assistive Technology Specialist in K-12 public school districts across two states. Currently, I work part-time as an Assistive Technologist at a private university, where I assist students in overcoming obstacles, improving productivity, and simplifying their daily lives.
In addition to my role in higher education, I offer personalized consultations and training on mainstream assistive technologies to individuals like you. Concurrently, I provide guidance on productivity strategies to help you maximize the effectiveness of these technologies.
